Using the Dashboard

The Dashboard features five tabs:

Welcome
Content Health
Recent Content Activity
User Activity
Digital Asset Usage

The Digital Asset Usage tab is not available for mobile devices owing to the large amount of data that is loaded which can cause the browser to fail.

Welcome Tab

The welcome tab is the entry point to the Dashboard and it's composed of three widgets:

Welcome Message
Content for Review
Review Date Upcoming

Dashboard Welcome Tab

Welcome Message Widget

This Welcome Message Widget displays a message for all users and can be modified by Administrators using the "Edit Welcome Message" link at the bottom of the widget.

Content for Review Widget

This widget shows how many Content Items which are accessible by the current user, require review in the current week. Administrators can see all Content Items.

The option to display this widget is the field "Show content for review graph Welcome Page" in the "Dashboard page" Content Item.

Dashboard Content Review Widget

Review Date upcoming widget

This widget shows the Content Items to review in the next seven days.

The option to display this widget is in the field "Show review date upcoming Welcome Page" in the "Dashboard page" Content Item.

Content Health Tab

The Content Health Tab displays information about the current status and dates of Content Items. This tab has the following widgets:

Content Freshness
Content for review
Oldest modified Content Item
Past Review Date
Review Date Upcoming
Expired content
Oldest content by last modified

Content Freshness Widget

Displays an overview of Content Items that require review, are past the review date or are expired:

Content for review widget

Oldest modified Content Item widget

Displays the days since the last modification to the oldest modified content.

Past Review Date widget

This table shows a list of Content Items that have passed their review date.

Review Date Upcoming widget

The option to display this widget is the field "Show review date upcoming in Content Health Page" in the piece of content "Dashboard page".

Expired content widget

This table shows a list of Content Items where the expiry date has passed.

Oldest content by last modified widget

This table shows the ten oldest modified content items.

Recent Content Activity Tab

The Recent Content Activity tab displays information about the current status/dates of Content Items, and recent

Current Content Overview widget

This graph shows an overview of the status changes of the current content over a specified number of months.

Current locks widget

This table shows the current locks of the current user or all users if the current user is an Administrator.

A user can unlock their own locks while an Administrator user can unlock the following assets for other Users:

Content Items
Contents Layouts
Media Layouts
Page Layouts

Recent content activity widget

This table shows the ten most recently modified Content Items that are accessible by the current user.

This table shows the ten most recently modified Layouts – only available for Power Users and Administrators.

User Activity Tab

The User Activity tab displays information about current sessions and users:

Sessions widget

This widget shows the number of current sessions:

This graph shows the number of users by role:

Users last login overview widget

This table lists the current sessions:

This table shows the users that have logged in at least once but have not logged in a specified number of months:

Digital Asset Usage Tab

The Digital Asset Usage tab displays information about the usage of Media Items

This tab will does not display on mobile devices owing to the large amount of data that is loaded which may cause a mobile browser to crash.

Media type overview widget

This graph shows the number of Media Items of each Media Type in the Media Library, and how many are being used by Content Items, Content Layouts and Page Layouts.

This table shows a report of Media Item usage in the Media Library:

Development	Due to the high number of media items, the way to render this report is different than others as it uses some render functions for each cell and use a JavaScript array to build the content of the table.
